China buys first Russian military hardware in 10 years

China has agreed to buy two dozen fighter jets and four submarines from Russia, Russian state media reported on Monday. It's the country's first large-scale weapons technology purchases from Moscow in a decade and comes on the heels of Mr Xi's three-day visit to Russia which ended Sunday.
The China/Russia March 22-24 summit in Moscow was hailed as a success over the weekend, with Chinese and Russian officials signing 30 agreements on cooperation in the areas of energy, trade, technology, and military exchange.In particular, China has agreed to buy the 24 Su-35 fighters and four Lada-class submarines has been signed, according to a report shown by Chinese state television.
