UK spies using Google and Facebook

Britain's Home Secretary Theresa May is coming under increasing pressure to investigate claims Britain's eavesdropping branch GCHQ has been gathering data through a secret US spy programme. 
The US-run programme, PRISM, gives US authorities access to millions of people’s phone records and internet data.Documents seen by the Guardian newspaper were said to show that the British agency GCHQ had generated 197 intelligence reports through the system in the 12 months to May 2012 - a 137% increase on the previous year.
