David Cameron says health watchdog "totally dysfunctional"

The healthcare regulator in England has been called “totally dysfunctional” by David Cameron. The Prime Minister's comments come after an independent report found the Care Quality Commission may have suppressed an internal review into a hospital where mothers and babies died. VoR's Hywel Davies reports.
Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt has apologised in the House of Commons to the families affected by a series of blunders by health watchdog, the Care Quality Commission, which has been described as "not fit for purpose" in dealing with the investigation into the death of new born babies.Hunt says what happened to families at Universities Hospital Morecambe Bay was a tragedy. He said he wants to apologise to those families.
