He was speaking at a meeting on the development of the national defense industry which was held at the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Production Association in Russia’s Far East. Putin’s speech complemented his article published in the Rossiiskaya Gazeta on Monday.The main requirement the Russian government sets before the enterprises of the national defense industry is to regularly supply the armed forces with the weapons, equipment and vehicles which are not inferior to their foreign equivalents. The products of the Komsomolsk-on-Amur Aircraft Production Association fully meet these requirements. The military equipment manufactured by the workshops at this enterprise is reliable and in great demand not only in Russia but also abroad. It would be enough mention the super maneuverable Su-35, Su-27SM, Su-30 multirole fighters and especially the fifth generation T-50 jet fighter. Source: Voice of Russia. |
