Vladimir Putin has received carte blanche from the Russian society. The people of Russia would welcome the authorities’ steps to carry out radical reforms in the political and social spheres. And the winner of the presidential elections plans to do that in cooperation with the opposition, which is expected to pass from street rallies to normal political rivalry. Such is the opinion of the majority of analysts who are commenting on the convincing victory of Vladimir Putin in the presidential elections in Russia.Vladimir Putin is the visible leader of Russia who was elected by the majority of Russian citizens – statements to this effect have been made in world capitals. The leaders of major countries have congratulated Putin on his victory. The percentage of the votes gained by the Russian Prime Minister is not called into question either.
