ISS safe as debris passes nearby

A discarded piece of the Russian rocket Cosmos 2251 has passed safely at a distance of 14 km away from the ISS, a source in the Russian Space Flight Control Center reported. The station crew had to evacuate to the Soyuz spacecraft as a precaution.
