20.03.2012, 14:04  Russia is fulfilling its contractual obligations to provide arms to Syria, Chief of Russian General Staff Nikolai Makarov said. “We will be delivering everything we are to deliver under the contract since we have never imposed any sanctions on Syria,” he told the journalists.“We are an independent state,” he added when commenting on the arms embargo slapped on Syria by other countries.
