The nuclear-powered USS Enterprise has left Norfolk and is now heading for its combat duty in the Mediterranean and then in the Persian Gulf, the US Navy reports. The Enterprise is expected to spend the most part of its seven-month Middle Eastern deployment as part of the US Fifth Fleet, stationed in Bahrain.
